Video Voice Speech Training System - Falling Star Sample Game Screen

The Falling Star Fun & Games option provides an entertaining format for practicing two articulation targets. One target controls left motion of the star-catcher, the other right motion. The position of the star relative to the basket determines which target the speaker must produce to catch the falling star before it hits ground. The therapist can define the target at game time or use models previously stored in a data file as the source for targets, and models can easily be replaced during the game to reflect individuals' best productions. She can also bias the game to demand and reward production of either of the targets if desired, or override the computer-produced scores if appropriate.
