| These cross-time displays show the pitch contours in a speech stream. The therapist produces a model which the speaker tries to match, and a cartoon reward appears if the average pitch and rhythm scores meet the goal. The results are typically displayed with the red trial pattern directly overlaying the blue model as shown, but the therapist can elect to change to the split screen format, in which the model appears in the top half of the screen and the trial in the bottom half. She can also easily switch between the pitch and amplitude displays for any speech sample. Samples can be from 1 to 10 seconds in duration. |
