International/Simplified Use

Localization and Support for Multiple Language Keyboards

The International/Simplified Use operating mode offers access to all Video Voice's games and graphic displays with their  many applications for speech practice.   It supports both Latin and non-Latin keyboard languages, including those with RTL orthographic orientation such as Arabic and Hindi.  Video Voice automatically recognizes the currently defined keyboard language and uses it in student/patient, therapist and model names and some reward mesages. There is substantial localization for French and Spanish languages, including controls and reward graphics.  In other keyboard languages, user names and model names appear in the currently defined keyboard language.

In both the standard Authorized User and International/Simplified operating modes, the audio prompts for voicing, reward messages and other auditory feedback can be customized with your own voice.

This simpler form of operation provides the same kinds of visual feedback as the standard Authorized User mode and has the same value in speech therapy.  The main difference between the two is that the International/Simplified Use mode has no model or score storage and reporting/data management capabilities.   If your interest is primarily in having motivating visual feedback for your students or clients, this lower-priced version of Video Voice may be right for you.

The software is licensed on a per-computer basis.  Multiple speech therapists who share a computer can easily share the Video Voice program.
