Voicing appropriate to the therapist-selected goal keeps the ball in play
in this lively Fun & Games option. Simple vocalization, onsets, and more
or less volume can be the paddle-activator (goal). The therapist controls the
activation "hot zone" to relax the required response time or demand more
exacting performance. She also sets the number of balls per game, the speed at which
it travels, and other game criteria. The player scores extra points for knocking out
all the bricks without using all the balls. This game teaches vocalization on demand, and can also be used to practice vocabulary words or other repetition of other study items. |
