Colorful patterns of Bubbles, Jewels or Crystals develop on the screen in response to ongoing vocalization in the Fun & Games Kaleidoscope display. Pattern colors are related to the pitch levels in the speaker's voice and its size to his volume levels. Harsh vocal onset is visible as a large outer ring in the display, and monotonal speech in a limited range of colors. To encourage ongoing phonation, the therapist can control how quickly the pattern remains on the screen with the Fade speed (Slow to Instant). Video Voice tracks phonation time, number of vocalizations, and more. |
