Version 3.0 Download |
Download & Installation Guidelines: Video Voice is a Windows® program intended for use on PCs with Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and 2000. It will also operate on Intel®-based OS X+ Macintosh computers equipped with Windows desktop emulation sofware such as Bootcamp, Parallels Desktop® or VMware Fusion®. You are downloading a file called VVSetup.exe. Downloading does not automatically install the Video Voice program; you must run the setup file to do install it before you can use the games and displays. If you save the setup program on a CD or flash drive, you can easily install on more than one computer or share with other people. The download steps vary depending on your computer's operating system. Windows 7, XP, 2000: When downloading, you may use either the Save or Open/Run option. Choose Save option if you want to store the vvsetup.exe file on your desktop (or other desired location such as a flash drive) and install the program. Choose Open/Run to start the setup program immediately after downloading (the setup file will not be saved on your computer). If you choose Save, double-click the VVsetup.exe icon on your desktop (or other stored location) to install the software after the download has completed. Windows 8.1, 10: When you download the VVSetup.exe file, it will be placed in your Downloads Folder. Simply run the installation program from that location. During installation, a red Video Voice 3.0 icon will be placed on your desktop and/or in your Start menu. Double-click the icon to start Video Voice, or choose Video Voice from your desktop Start Programs menu. In all cases, you will need to exit from your browser before doing the installation. Note: Some schools and other facilities do not permit speech therapists or teachers to download and install executable programs such as Video Voice. If yours is among those, please ask your IT Department or tech to assist you with this. Also, some versions of Windows Internet Explorer provide extra protection during downloading, based on number of times a program has been downloaded by others. If you see a message warning you that the program is not frequently downloaded, it likely means we have recently uploaded a new "core image" of the software. You may proceed with the download without risk. If you have questions or concerns please email mv@videovoice.com for further information. |
